How to make Flashcards:
  1. Make a list of really important terms to know and understand
  2. Make a flash card for each term from a list that you produce based on the following…
  3. On one side of the card, write the name you see in the list.
  4. On the opposite side of the card, write great definition that you will understand, an excellent drawing that represents the clue on the other side.

Flashcard Game #1: Take my flashcards please!
  1. Once you have your flash cards done, shuffle them up so that they are in a random order.
  2. Sit with a partner (friend, parent, brother or sister) and have them pull a flash card off the top of the deck.
  3. Then, tell your partner everything on the other side of the flash card. If you are correct, then you should be really proud of yourself. If you are wrong, have your partner give you hints until you understand it all.
  4. Repeat a couple of times of day.
Flashcard Game #2
  1. Shuffle your flashcards and place them all on a table in front of you.
  2. Close your eyes and pick any two flashcards from your set of cards.
  3. Explain outloud how the two cards are related to each other, the more detail, the better.
  4. Write down the connections between the two cards.
